How
Much Can I Make?
Veteran Sample Sales Buyers regularly make several
thousand pounds each year by simply buying up
all the cheap sample clothes and accessories
at the designer sample sales and selling them
on still cheaply via eBay and making the profit
in the middle. As most of the sample sales are
held by top brands you will find that there
is always a market for selling on the items
you have bought.
Aim
to visit 3-4 sample sales each year, and spend
whatever you can afford to at each event. The
prices at these sample sale events are so cheap
it’s exceptionally hard for you to ever
make a loss on all the designer products you’ve
bought when it comes to reselling them!

Work
From Home?
Yes, this business is very easy to run from
home as unless you are buying enough clothes
to fill a whole shop you should easily be able
to store your purchases at home whilst your
are selling them – especially if they
are small accessories.
Worked
Example:
The Ted Baker Sample Sale was a great example.
We picked up a bag-full of cuff links all at
£5 per set (in the presentation box!),
these all sold for at least £10-£15
per set on ebay, sometimes more. We also picked
up a couple of suits at £65 each (for
a full suit), these went for between £100-£150
in the end. We picked up a huge amount of bags,
all kinds from record bags, handbags, leather
hold-alls, etc, most of which cost £5
each, with a few leather ones costing £10.
These typically sold on eBay for £15-£25
as standard bags, the leather ones going for
£30-£50. Just from one trip to a
good sample sale (making sure you get there
early) and you can easily make £500 -£1000
from reselling them via eBay.
