When
knocking little panel pins into awkward places, cut
a strip of card board off a cornflake or similar box
about 10cms long by 1 cm wide. Make a little hole with
the pin about a few millimeters from the end and push
the pin through it.
Hold
the cardboard and position the pin where you want to
knock it in to the piece of wood or whatever you are
trying to fix. Hammer in with a small hammer. Saves
you knocking your fingers and you can often get the
pin into places where your hand won't go.
